INTRODUCTIONS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
FLLS UPDATES
- FLLS still has not received the last 10% of LLSA aid, should be coming soon. Your bullet aid should also be coming soon.
- Carlos Perez started on Monday, February 12.
- Last day accepting applications for CNS Manager was Friday, February 9. Phone interviews next week with Sarah & Eric followed by in-person interviews with all staff.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
- ???
2024 BULK COMPUTER BUY INFORMATION
- Eric will start researching computers soon and order form will be sent out beginning of May.
- All-in-one desktops, Chrome devices, laptops, and licenses will be available.
- A few computers from the previous bulk buy still need to be staged, hopefully completed soon.
- No specific printer recommendation for chrome devices, must be compatible with Google Cloud printing service.
- Barcode scanners can be purchased at any time. Same with other items.
- Computers have a 5-year warranty so we recommend you have your computers on a 5-year rotation. Not required, but this way the computers are covered for their entire life.

WEBSITE STATS
- Former software that collection website statistics (for websites hosted through FLLS) is no longer compatible with server software.
- Switched to Google Analytics. A new code for 2023, important to upgrade to the GA4 code immediately.
- You can also use something else if you’re hosted someplace else like Wix, etc.
POLARIS LOGOUT
- Make sure to log off properly! Since so many libraries are logging off improperly, the Pro Server can’t reboot! It is causing very serious issues.
- Watch the Polaris New User video: https://vimeo.com/640507616. The password for all videos is polari$ and you can click on the specific timestamp to just watch how to log off properly.

ECONTENT COMMITTEE
- Committee has been disbanded and has been turned into a line item here at Falcons.
- Selector’s Committee is still meeting regularly to discuss OverDrive purchasing.
- Reminder that Libby is the patron-facing platform for OverDrive.
