INTRODUCATION & ANNOUNCEMENT:
- Wayne Stephenson has filled the CNS position at FLLS starting July 1, 2024.
- August meeting will be hybrid and Wayne will be there. This will be a great opportunity to meet him.
- Bullet Aid letters need to be sent out soon – only three weeks of session left
- Sarah will be out of the office next Tuesday (May 21) & Wednesday (May 22).
- Referendum Vote emails need to be sent to Sarah early next week.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
February meeting (Sandra Groth) – approved seeing no objections
OLD BUSINESS:
E-Content Committee – Heidi
Roll E-Content meeting into FALCONS Meetings
Adding magazines to OverDrive – added around summer time
Cost – $14,000 a year
(over 5,000 titles in many languages – simultaneous use)
Mango Languages – added Sign Language in February – numbers have doubled – good addition
Polaris Remote Desktop Logout
Do not use “X” to logout – Right click on start button and choose logout option
NEW BUSINESS:
New Polaris User ID Registration
- New Polaris User IDs need to include id name and an email address
- Also, new users must change temporary password and register AD Selfserve for password reset
Supplies Ordering:
Order supplies (receipt paper, bar codes, etc) through helpdesk tool
- FLLS.org – FLLS HELPDESK – Service Desk – Catalog Items
2024 Bulk Computer Buy
Orders at due 5/23/24 – order goes out 5/24/24

Order should be at FLLS by the 2nd Week of June – quick turn-around
FLLS Road Trip Patron Registration
- Can cards be given out to patrons from other library services areas within the FLLS?
- Review your library’s library card policy
- E-Content’s contract is within the FLLS service area (5 counties)
- Intent is to honor your service area
