Now Hiring: Library Director in Dryden

The Southworth Library Association, located in Dryden, NY, seeks an experienced, energetic, community-minded leader with a strong commitment to public library service for the position of Library Director. See the full job posting here.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in related field; MLS is recommended plus two years of successful public library leadership experience.  Applicant should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to establish effective working relationships with staff, volunteers, the Board, local schools and the general public, conduct public outreach and serve as spokesperson for the library.
