Outreach, Advocacy, and Marketing: Understanding the Venn Diagram

April 29 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Outreach, Advocacy, and Marketing are often used interchangeably, but they are three distinct activities. Learn the unique and important roles they play in furthering a library’s strategic plan, including to what degree they are separate and when they overlap. Having a clear understanding of each and how they interact will help administration and staff make intentional, mission-focused decisions on library services, programs, and materials to best support and serve their communities. Presented by Suzanne Macaulay.

Registration is required: https://flls.zoom.us/meeting/register/_LsVz5wTTym1_q-uCTOJzw. Session will be held on Zoom and will be recorded. View our Code of Conduct for Programs here: https://tinyurl.com/FLLSCodeofConduct.
